What You'll Do

  • Report to AH Datalytics leadership to develop data products in support of projects.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide automated reporting mechanisms.
  • Develop and implement data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies to deliver quality analytics to clients.
  • Use tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and more to develop end-to-end data analytic solutions and customized data platforms in support of projects.
  • Acquire data from data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Develop data pipelines and implement ETL routines for auditing and managing data workflows.
  • Provide back-end support to create engaging visualizations and data-driven analyses.
  • Transform, filter, and “clean” data to prepare for analysis.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience managing project and coordinating complex work products.
  • Experience USING AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini is required.
  • Experience as an advanced user of data analytics tools such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Power BI, D3, or similar tools for data analytics is required.
  • Experience generating graphs, charts, and other visual displays to display data.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of criminal justice system data is preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • A Master’s Degree in data science, mathematics, computer science, information management, social science, economics, public administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Two (2) years of related experience involving data analysis, including experience in policy analysis, consulting, program evaluation, and related fields.
  • OR
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in data science, mathematics, computer science, information management, social science, economics, public administration or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Four (4) years of related experience involving data analysis, including experience in policy analysis, consulting, program evaluation, and related fields.
